Dove Hunting in Bolivia
( April 01 – October 31 )
Over the last few years, we have been dove hunting all over Bolivia in search of the country’s most productive fields. We’ve established camps and set up lodges in Bolivia’s best dove hunting areas. Recently, we partnered with Bolivia’s flagship dove hunting lodge – Tajibo Lodge. This amazing dove hunting lodge is perfectly situated in the midst of Bolivia’s expansive farming region. There are countless acres of sunflower fields, sorghum fields and numerous watering holes that make this area prime dove hunting habitat! Drives from the lodge to the birds average 15 – 30 minutes, but sometimes the shooting is even closer. The hunting lodge can hold up to 9 hunters at a time very comfortably. New rooms being built for the 2009 season will allow for up to 13 hunters at a time. Amenities include an open bar, a huge swimming pool, multiple lounging areas, maid service, laundry service, gourmet international cuisine and telephone / Internet service. Getting to the lodge is easy – you have your choice of a 3.5-hr drive or a 50-minute charter flight. With such short drives to the field, an endless supply of birds and an incredible lodge to boot, dove hunting in Bolivia just doesn’t get any better than this!
Typical Bolivia Dove Hunting Program
Day 01: Arrive Santa Cruz, Bolivia International Airport on morning flight from the US. Clear customs and transfer by land or charter to the dove hunting lodge. Enjoy a half-day dove hunting.
Day 02: Full day of dove hunting
Day 03: Full day of dove hunting
Day 04: Full day of dove hunting
Day 05: Midday transfer back to Santa Cruz, overnight in city
Day 06: Morning transfer to Santa Cruz, Bolivia International Airport for flight to US.
Dove Hunting Package
Included: All professionally guided hunts, lodging, meals, open bar, hunting licenses, land transportation, field fees and US-based travel / hunting consultation.
Not included: Air transportation, airport taxes, shells, VISA costs, items of a personal nature, phone calls, tips and liquor in Santa Cruz.
Typical Bolivia Cast & Blast Program ( July 15 – October 31 )
Day 01: Arrive Santa Cruz, Bolivia International Airport on morning flight from the US. Clear customs and transfer by charter flight to Peacock Bass fishing lodge. Enjoy lunch and an afternoon of Peacock Bass fishing.
Day 02: Full day of Peacock Bass fishing all day (coming back to lodge for lunch, swimming and siesta)
Day 03: Morning of Peacock Bass fishing, then charter flight to the hunting fields. Enjoy an afternoon of wingshooting
Day 04: Full day of wingshooting
Day 05: Full day of wingshooting
Day 06: Morning of wingshooting, lunch and transfer back to Santa Cruz, dinner in the city, overnight in city
Day 07: Morning transfer to Santa Cruz, Bolivia International Airport for flight to US
